A little about each of the dances:

Nuevo/Alternative Tango

Nuevo tango is either a form of music in which new elements are incorporated into traditional tango music, or an evolution of tango dance that began to develop in the 1980s. Nuevo and Alternative Tango are differet than Traditional Tango. There is a difference in music, in dance and in social behaviours. It allows us to discover other musics like: modern tango; neo-tango played by current orchestras. It is a way to hear electric or electronic sounds and even pop and soul music or any type of world music.

West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in the Lindy Hop. It is characterized by an elastic look that results from its extension-compression technique of partner connection and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. You can dance West Coast Swing to much of the same music as you dance Nuevo/Alternative Tango.

West Coast Swing

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance originating from Brazil. Also known as zouk-lambada, the dance is a descendant of lambada, the music & dance style that swept over the world like a storm in the late 1980's. Lambazouk dancers use 1-2-3 (or quick-quick-slow) rhythm and dance to a more upbeat music. Zouk music is wonderful, bu you can also dance Zouk to much of the same music as you dance Nuevo/Alternative Tango.
